The family owned and run enterprise with its headquarters in Bad Urach was founded in 1989 as a manufacturer of garment by Rudolf R hrer as expert (already age 50 back then), his son Jochen and Norbert Armbruster, responsible for sales. By a stable growth SASSA Mode GmbH develops to a well-established brand in the market for textiles.
During the early years SASSA Mode GmbH mainly served major retail companies with large quantities. By launching an own SASSA-collection in 1991 and establishing a strong sales force the company provided a solid basis for the constant growth and profitability ever since.
In 1992 the company already started its expansion to foreign countries. Today SASSA Mode GmbH has its own sales subsidiaries in five countries all over Europe and serves additional foreign markets with sales agents and importing partners.
In the beginning SASSA merchandise had been delivered unbranded to the SASSA retail customers. But as a strong company and due to the fact that product identity becomes invariably more important, SASSA has been sharpening its product profile with a distinct and sophisticated SASSA branding. Thus the various collections are enhanced continuously and further product ranges are complemented.
To further enhance the visibility of SASSA in stores and shops SASSA introduced its new Shop-in Shop concept in 2009. An increasing number of retail stores features the SASSA collection within such especially designed shops.
Over the last 25 years SASSA has emerged as a successful manufacturer of garment. The company's headquarter in Bad Urach Germany provides 7.000 square meters for logistics and administration. More than 100 employees in Germany and in the sales offices abroad take care of the customers' needs.
